As scheduled, Vivo has announced a new mid-ranger smartphone in the Philippines market via a Facebook live event. This device, known as the Vivo V19 Neo, is in fact a rebranded model of the Vivo V17 which was previously announced in India.

For starter, the Vivo V19 Neo features 6.44-inches FHD+ Super AMOLED display which employs a single hole-punch design to accommodate its 32 megapixels selfie camera. There will also be an in-display fingerprint sensor as well.

On its rear panel, the Vivo V19 Neo has a rectangular camera module which houses a total of four cameras including a 48 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, 2 megapixels macro camera, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor.

Under the hood, the Vivo V19 Neo is driven by an octa-core Snapdragon 675 SoC assisted by 8GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage which is further expandable via a microSD card.

To keep its lights on, there will be a hefty 4,500mAh battery which carries support for 18W fast-charging. On the software-side, the device will be shipped with the company’s custom FuntouchOS 10 based on Android 10.

In terms of pricing, the Vivo V19 Neo will be priced at PHP17,999 (US$358) for its sole 8GB+128GB model.
