A Vivo phone with model number V2023A was spotted at the database of 3C authority at the beginning of this month. The same handset has appeared on the Geekbench platform today with its key specifications. It suggests that it could be arriving as the company’s first Snapdragon 720G SoC powered handset.

The Geekbench listing shows that the Vivo V2023A phone has scored 571 in the single-core benchmark test and 1805 in the multi-core test. The processor that powers the device is mentioned as “atoll” which is associated with the Snapdragon 720G SoC. It has a base frequency of 1.8GHz.

The Vivo V2023A phone’s processor is coupled with 6 GB of RAM. The handset is found to be running on Android 10 OS.

The 3C appearance of the Vivo V2023A had revealed that it is a 4G phone. It had also revealed that the phone could be shipping with an 18W charger.

The Geekbench listing reminds of another Vivo phone that was spotted with Vivo TD2003F_EX label in May. It also was also powered by Snapdragon 720G and it had 8 GB of RAM. Rumors had claimed that it could be a rival product from Vivo to take on the Redmi Note 9 series.

Recent reports have revealed that the Chinese firm is gearing up to launch Vivo Y70 mid-range phone in China. It could be a 5G phone powered by Exynos 880 chipset. The brand is also rumored to be working on the Vivo Watch smartwatch. The wearable tech may go official as early as next month
