An unknown Vivo smartphone with a V2068A model number was spotted at the 3C certification platform last month. The device has now appeared at TENAA with a few specifications and images. The handset sports a design that is quite like the existing phones like Vivo Y31s 5G (V2054A), Vivo Y52s 5G (V2057A), and iQOO U3 (V2061A).
Even though the above-mentioned smartphones have identical dimensions, display size, and battery capacity, they are powered by different chipsets and have some other differences. The newly spotted Vivo V2068A has the same dimensions of 164.15 x 75.35 x 8.5 and it houses a 6.52-inch display with a teardrop notch. It is unclear whether the phone supports Full HD+ or HD+ resolution.
The Vivo V2068A is backed by a 4,910mAh rated battery. Its 3C certification had revealed that it may ship with an 18W rapid charger. The handset runs on Android 11 OS. Hopefully, newer reports will reveal its final product name and more information on its specs.
In related news, the Vivo S7t 5G phone, which is yet to receive a formal official announcement has appeared in the database of China Telecom. Previous leaks suggested that the Vivo S7t 5G has a V2048A model number. However, the China Telecom listing states that the model number of the device is V2080A.
The Vivo V2080 (Vivo S7t 5G) has a wide notch on its screen and its specs are identical to the last year’s Vivo S7 5G that came with Snapdragon 765G. The main difference between the two phones is that the S7t 5G has a Dimensity 820 chipset instead of SD765G.
A Google Play Console listing of the V2048A phone was spotted recently. It revealed that it is powered by the Dimensity 820 chipset and it has a teardrop notch screen. Hence, it seems that the Vivo V2048A seems to be a different device.
