Vivo V2140A certified by TENAA; will be an entry-level smartphone

A new Vivo smartphone bearing the model number V2140A has been certified by the Chinese TENAA authority which has revealed some of the device’s hardware specs along with it’s official images.

As seen in the images, the upcoming Vivo V2140A appears to be flaunting a waterdrop-notch display upfront along with some fairly noticeable bezels along it’s edges.

According to TENAA, the phone was listed with a 6.51” AMOLED display which offers a HD+ screen resolution. Although there isn’t any mention on the screen’s refresh rate, but it’s likely to feature a standard 60Hz refresh rate considering that the phone is an entry-level device.

On the rear side of the phone, the Vivo V2140A comes with a square-shaped camera bump like what we saw on the Vivo Y15a. There will be two cameras at the back consisting of a 13 megapixels main camera as well as a 2 megapixels auxiliary camera.

Under the hood, the device will be powered by an unspecified octa-core chipset which offers a maximum clock speed of 2.3GHz. In the memory department, it also features up to 6GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card.

To keep it’s lights on, the Vivo V2140A will be backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging support. Expectedly, the phone is shipped with Android 11 OS out of the box.
