Following it’s debut in the Indian market last week, the Vivo V23 5G has now made it’s way to the Taiwanese market, where the selfie-centric smartphone carries a starting price of NTD15,990 (US$580).
As a quick recap, the Vivo V23 5G features a vibrant 6.44” AMOLED display which offers a FHD+ screen resolution topped with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. The key highlight here lies in it’s dual front-facing cameras that include a 50 megapixels main camera as well as an 8 megapixels ultra-wide shooter for taking group selfies.
At the back, the phone features a color-changing Fluorite AG Glass which changes colors for several minutes when exposed to direct sunlight. It has a rectangular camera unit which houses a triple-camera setup comprising of a 50 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera as well as a 2 megapixels macro camera for close-up photography.
Under the hood, the Vivo V23 5G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage. To keep it’s lights on, the phone is also fitted with a 4,200mAh battery which supports up to 44W fast-charging.
Software-wise, the Vivo V23 5G is the first smartphone from the company to boot on the new FuntouchOS 12 based on Android 12 OS. Those who’re interested will be able to pick the phone from two different colors such as Stardust Black and Sunshine Gold.
In the Taiwanese market, the Vivo V23 5G is priced at NTD15,990 (US$580) and NTD17,990 (US$653) respectively for it’s 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB variants.
