Last week., Vivo announced the first model from the company’s new Vivo V23 smartphone series dubbed as the Vivo V23e in the Vietnamese market. Now, the company has also confirmed that it will be launching a 5G variant – Vivo V23e 5G – in the Thai market on November 23rd next week.
As seen in the teasers published by the company, the Vivo V23e 5G appears to share the same design as the existing 4G model. This means we’ll be getting the same waterdrop-notch design with flat display upfront along with a rectangular camera bump at the back which houses a triple-cam setup.
Although the Vivo V23e 4G comes with a 50MP front-facing camera, the promo poster apparently revealed that the 5G variant will be getting a slightly toned-down 44MP selfie camera instead. That’s pretty much all the details that were revealed by the company so far.
As a quick recap, the recently announced Vivo V23e 4G features a 6.44” AMOLED display with FHD+ screen resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, in-display fingerprint scanner, as well as a 50MP front-facing camera.
On the rear side, it features a triple-cam setup housed within a rectangular camera island comprising of a 64 megapixels wide camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, as well as a 2 megapixels super macro camera.
Under the hood, the Vivo V23e has an octa-core MediaTek Helio G96 chipset that sits at the heart of the device. This will be supplemented by 8GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage which supports memory expansion via a microSD card.
To keep it’s lights on, the Vivo V23e draws power from a respectable 4,050mAh battery with 44W fast-charging support. On the software side of things, it’ll boot on Funtouch OS 12 based on Android 11 out of the box.
