Vivo is reportedly working on the Vivo V30 series of smartphones for the global market. The Philippines division of the company has already started teasing its arrival. Ahead of the expected launch, tipster Paras Guglani has shared a render of the global version of the Vivo V30. In addition, he also tipped the key specifications of the device.
The Vivo V30 render shows that it has a curve-edge OLED panel with an in-screen fingerprint sensor on the front. On the back, the device has a triple camera unit equipped with a squarish Aura LED flash.
The top side of the Vivo V30 has a microphone, whereas its bottom has a SIM slot, a microphone, a USB-C port, and a speaker grille. The left spine of the V30 is barren, while the right features a volume rocker and a power key. The leaker claims that the device is equipped with key features, such as 12 GB of RAM, 12 GB of virtual RAM, the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, and 80W charging. The device will weigh around 185 grams and come in shades such as Elegant Black and Ocean Blue.
According to reports, the Vivo V30 will be a rebranded version of the Vivo S18. It is expected to arrive with a 6.78-inch curved-edge OLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will run on FunTouch OS 14-based Android 14. The SDG73 phone may ship with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage.
The V30 will arrive with a 50-megapixel front camera with autofocus support, and its back panel has a 50-megapixel (main, with OIS) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) dual-camera system. The device will pack a 5,000mAh battery with 80W charging support.
