Vivo has officially confirmed that the company will be unveiling the all-new Origin OS on November 18th this month, one day ahead of the annual Vivo Developer Conference.

Bearing the slogan “Brave New World”, the upcoming Origin OS is expected to be a huge departure from the current FuntouchOS, and is likely to be powering all the upcoming Vivo devices.

Although there isn’t much information on the Origin OS, but earlier rumors had suggested that the new Origin OS will allow users to switch easily between stock Android or the heavily-customized Origin OS.

Other than revealing the highlights and key features of the new OriginOS, Vivo is also expected to shed some lights on whether Vivo smartphones running on FuntouchOS will be upgradable to Origin OS in the near future.
