Vivo X Flip is expected to debut as Vivo’s first clamshell phone with a foldable screen at some point this month in China. Ahead of the expected launch, promotional images of the Vivo X Flip have surfaced on Weibo. Here is a good look at the device.
The marketing images show the popular Chinese actress, Wang Ziwen, flaunting the Vivo X Flip. As past reports have revealed, the X Flip has a round camera module and a large rectangle-shaped secondary display. Another source has revealed that it will arrive in three colors: Diamond Black, Diamond Purple, and Silk Gold

Recent reports have brought to light the fact that the Vivo X Flip will have a foldable AMOLED display measuring 6.8 inches in size. This screen will offer a Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and support 682 pixels resolution on the external screen. The phone will run on Android 13 that has OriginOS 3 as its base.
In terms of cameras, the Vivo X Flip will be equipped with a dual-camera system with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX866 primary camera and a 12-megapixel Sony IMX663 ultra-wide camera. The phone may also come with a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.
The Vivo X Flip will have impressive hardware components, including a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip and 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM. It will come with up to 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Additionally, the phone will feature a 4,400mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging, and a side-facing fingerprint scanner for security purposes.
Vivo is expected to confirm the date of its next launch event for the Chinese market in the next few days. Apart from the X Flip, it will also unveil the X Fold 2 and Pad 2.
