Vivo is expected to unveil the Vivo X Fold 2 in April in China. A recent report revealed that the tablet will debut as the world’s first Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-powered tablet. The leak, courtesy of tipster Digital Chat Station, also revealed the battery size and charging capabilities of the foldable phone. Now, in a new leak, he has revealed almost everything about the device.
Vivo X Fold 2 Specifications (Rumored)
As per the tipster, the Vivo X Fold 2 will have an 8-inch foldable E6 AMOLED display with LTPO technology and UTG. It will offer a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The leak does not say anything about the front display of the device.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset will power the Vivo X Fold 2. It will come with 16 GB of RAM. It is expected to come preloaded with the Android 13 OS with the OriginOS 3.0 UI on top.
The rear camera setup of the Vivo X Fold 2 will have an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel Sony IMX866 primary camera. It will be accompanied by a 12-megapixel Sony IMX663 ultra-wide lens and a 12-megapixel Sony IMX663 telephoto camera.
The Vivo X Fold 2 will pack a 4,800mAh dual-cell battery with support for 120W fast charging. Rumors are rife that the company will also announce the Vivo X Flip clamshell device alongside the X Fold 2 in April in China. The X Flip is likely to come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 mobile platform.
