Several reports have claimed that OnePlus is working on a phone dubbed as the OnePlus Ace 2 Dimensity Edition. However, the official name of the phone has now been confirmed as the OnePlus Ace 2V. The company revealed that the letter “V” stands for victory, meaning that it will be a winner when it comes to performance.

The OnePlus Ace 2V, which has a model number of PHP110, has bagged certifications from Chinese authorities like CMIIT and 3C. Earlier today, the device also appeared in the database of the AnTuTu benchmarking site. Rumours abound that the same device, or a modified version of it, will be released in the global market as the OnePlus Nord 3.

The AnTuTu listing of the Ace 2V revealed that it is powered by the Dimensity 9000 chipset, 16 GB of RAM, and 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The listing suggested that one of the variants may offer LPDDR5x RAM. It further revealed that the device runs on Android1 3 OS, which could be overlaid with ColorOS 13.

Other reports have revealed that the OnePlus Ace 2V will have a 6.74-inch OLED display that offers a 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. On the front, it will have a 16-megapixel selfie camera, and its back panel will have a 64-megapixel (OmniVision OV64M, with OIS) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera unit. It will pack a 5,000mAh battery with 80W charging support. Now that the official teasers have started, the Ace 2V is expected to launch in March in China.
