Vivo is expected to announce the Vivo X Fold 3 series of smartphones later this month in China. A leak by DCS revealed the full specifications of the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro. Now, a new leaked poster revealing the display specifications of the Vivo X Fold 3 has emerged on Weibo. Here is a look at what the front and rear displays of the device will offer.
On the inside, the Vivo X Fold 3 will have an 8.03-inch Samsung E7 AMOLED display that offers a 2K+ resolution and up to 3000 nits of brightness. It will offer a screen-to-body ratio of 91.8 percent and a crease-less experience.
On the outside, the 6.53-inch cover AMOELD panel will offer a comfortable grip. It will also offer a maximum brightness of 3000 nits. The strongest ceramic glass in the industry will shield the outer display. As far as the display design is concerned, the external screen will have a centered punch-hole, whereas the internal display will have a top-right cornered punch-hole.
Both screens will support LTPO and have an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner. As per the leaks, the X Fold 3 and X Fold 3 Pro will have the same outer and inner displays, but they will differ in other aspects, such as chipset, RAM and storage configurations, battery size, charging capabilities, and camera specifications.
As per reports, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and 8 Gen 3 chipsets power the Vivo X Fold 3 and X 3 Pro. These devices are likely to feature a 5,700mAh battery with 80W charging and a 5,800mAh battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. Both phones are said to have a 32-megapixel front camera and a 32-megapixel camera on the internal screen. The rear camera setup may include a 50-megapixel OV50H main camera with OIS support and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens. While the X Fold 3 will feature a 50-megapixel telephoto camera, the X Fold 3 Pro will have a 64-megapixel OV64B periscope telephoto camera.
