Several reports have claimed that Vivo’s next foldable phone, named the Vivo X Fold Plus, will be launching this month in China. In a new Weibo post, a reliable source called Digital Chat Station said that it will be shown off in the country by the end of this month.
According to the tipster, a device featuring the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset, an ultra-large display that supports a 2K resolution, and a 50-megapixel primary camera will launch by the end of September. While he has not explicitly mentioned the name of the device, he seems to be talking about the Vivo X Fold+.
Vivo X Fold Plus Specifications (Rumored)
The Vivo X Fold+ is expected to feature an 8.03-inch inner foldable AMOLED screen with LTPO technology. It will produce a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be equipped with a 6.53-inch AMOLED cover display that will support a 120Hz refresh rate. Both displays will be integrated with an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner.
The X Fold+ will have a 16-megapixel front camera. The device will have a 50-megapixel main camera, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 12-megapixel portrait lens with 2x optical zoom, and an 8-megapixel periscope camera with 5x optical zoom.
The X Fold S will be driven by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. It will be accompanied by a 4,700mAh battery that will support 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The device will run on the Android 12 OS with OriginOS Ocean UI on top. It will come in a red color and have a leather finish.
