Vivo X200S first look revealed in purple shade

Oppo and Vivo are gearing up to launch new smartphones in April. While Oppo has confirmed that it will unveil the Find X8 Ultra, X8S, and X8S+ on April 10 in China, Vivo is yet to reveal the date for the Vivo X200 Ultra launch event. Apart from the X200 Ultra, the brand is also expected to launch another phone, dubbed the X200S. Today, Vivo Product Manager Han Boxiao released an image through his Weibo account to showcase its front and rear design.

The image above showcases two smartphones in a purple shade. On the left is the Vivo X200 Pro Mini, and on the right is the X200S. As can be seen, the X200S appears to be a larger edition of the Pro Mini. However, it features a flat display, unlike the micro-quad-curved screen available on the Vivo X200, which was announced in October 2024.

Currently, the Pro Mini is available in black, white, green, and pink shades, and the brand will soon add a purple edition. As for the X200S, previous reports have claimed that it will also come in black and white shades.

Vivo X200S specifications (rumored)

Reports have revealed that the Vivo X200S will arrive with a 6.67-inch OLED LTPS panel that offers a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor. It will feature the upcoming Dimensity 9400 Plus chipset, which will be paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. It may house a 6,000mAh battery with 90W wired and 50W wireless charging support. The phone will run on Android 15 and OriginOS 5.

The X200S’ rear camera setup may include an OIS-assisted 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 primary camera, a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel LYT-600 periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. It is also said to be equipped with an IP68/69-rated chassis.
