In October 2024, Vivo unveiled the Vivo X200, X200 Pro, and X200 Pro Mini in China. Now, rumors suggest that the brand is preparing to launch the Vivo X200s in the second quarter of 2025 in its home market. Tipster Experience More, who has shared some details about the X200s, believes that the device is poised to achieve strong sales.
Vivo X200S is expected to meet a good market response

According to a recent tipster, the Vivo X200s may include both ultrasonic fingerprint scanning and wireless charging, suggesting that these features could become standard in Vivo’s X-series phones going forward. The tipster believes that these features, combined with a competitive price, could make the X200s a successful device.
Previous reports have claimed that the Vivo X200s will have a 1.5K OLED panel with a flat design. Under the hood, it is expected to feature the upcoming Dimensity 9400+ chipset. The X200s appears to be a major upgrade, as the existing X200 has a micro-quad-curved screen, a Dimensity 9400 chip, an optical-type fingerprint scanner, and lacks an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
Additionally, the tipster mentions that a prototype of the next generation of the X300 Pro Mini exists. However, it is unclear whether the device’s positioning will change. The reason for this statement is that there is some speculation that Vivo may launch the said X300 Pro Mini under the Vivo X300 moniker, keeping the compact design with a display size of around 6.31 inches.
He speculates that if the X300 (X300 Pro Mini) features a narrower bezel and ultrasonic fingerprint scanning, then it would be sufficient. However, a change in positioning might require downgrading the camera capabilities.
The X300 series is expected to launch in the last quarter of this year. In all likelihood, the X300 lineup will come equipped with the forthcoming Dimensity 9500 chip, which may debut in October of this year.
