Update: Shown below is the alleged Vivo X60 Pro in real skin. The other image showcases the rear camera design of the X60 / X60 Pro. It reveals that the rear camera sensor arrangement is similar to the previous generation.
Original story continues…
In December last year, Vivo announced the Vivo X30 and Vivo X30 Pro. These phones were succeeded by the Vivo X50, Vivo X50 Pro, and Vivo X50 Pro+ earlier this year. Vivo is now expected to unleash the Vivo X60 series in December. Ahead of the launch, the Vivo X60 has appeared in real skin to reveal its front and rear design.
The Vivo X60 live shot shows that it will be sporting a punch-hole display. Instead of the top-left corner positioned punch-hole found on the predecessor models, the Vivo X60 has a top-center aligned camera cutout.
The image matches with the live shot of the Vivo X60 that had surfaced in the previous month (shown below). Since the above shown phone seems to feature a flat screen, it is likely that this debut could be the Vivo X60. The Pro variant may feature a display with curved edges.
The backside of the Vivo X60 has an attractive gradient appearance. The upper-left corner of the rear shell is fitted with a rectangle-shaped module. However, camera sensors are not clearly visible.
It is unclear how many phones are included in the Vivo X60 series. The X60 lineup will be fueled by the Exynos 1080 chipset that was announced last month. Also, the X60 series will be the first phones to arrive preloaded with OriginOS based Android 11 OS.
In October, a mysterious device labeled as “Orion” powered by Exynos 1080 had appeared in AnTuTu benchmarks with a marvelous score of 693,600. The device was found to be equipped with 8 GB of LPPDR5 RAM and 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The screen carried support for a 120Hz refresh rate. Probably, it could be the Vivo X60 series smartphone.
