Vivo X60 Pro+ to Launch on January 21 in China

Vivo announced the Vivo X60 and Vivo X60 Pro smartphones at the end of December 2020. At the launch event, the company also confirmed the existence of the more advanced Vivo X60 Pro+ flagship phone.

Though the company did not release any information pertaining to its specs, but they do confirmed that the X60 Pro+ will break cover at some point in January. Today, the Chinese manufacturer released an official confirmation that the Vivo X60 Pro+ will be announced on Jan. 21 next week.

Vivo X60 Pro+ launch date

The Vivo X60 and Vivo X60 Pro smartphones are driven by the Exynos 1080 chipset. However, the Vivo X60 Pro+ is expected to arrive with the Snapdragon 888 mobile platform.

Past reports have suggested that the Pro Plus phone will be equipped with a 120Hz refresh rate supporting display with a punch-hole design, 55W fast charging technology, and a 50-megapxiel primary camera. Needless to say, we can expect the gimbal system to make its return on the upcoming Vivo X60 Pro+ as well.

Vivo X60 and X60 Pro Specifications

The Vivo X60 and X60 Pro came with 6.56-inch FHD+ AMOLED displays with 120Hz refresh rate support. These phones run on OriginOS 11 based Android 11 OS. Both smartphones have 32-megapixel front cameras. The X60 has a 48-megapixel + 13-megpaixel + 13-megapixel triple camera system, whereas the Pro model has a 48-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 13-megapixel + 13-megapixel quad camera setup. The X60 and X60 Pro phones are backed by 4,300mAh and 4,200mAh batteries, respectively.
