Vivo will be announcing the Vivo X70, Vivo X70 Pro, and Vivo X70 Pro+ smartphones on Sept. 9 in China. It will be holding a global launch event for the X70 lineup on Sept. 10. Ahead of the launch, the X70 Pro+ has appeared at TENAA with all the major specs to reveal what to expect from the device.
The Vivo X70 Pro+ has appeared with model number V2145A at TENAA. The same model was spotted at 3C, Google Play Console, and Geekbench in recent weeks. These listings revealed that the smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 Plus chipset and it may carry support for 55W rapid charging.
Vivo X70 Pro+ Specifications
The Vivo X70 Pro+ measures 164.54 x 75.21 x 8.89mm and weighs 209 grams. The smartphone houses a 6.78-inch AMOLED display that offers a Quad HD+ resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels. Reports suggest that it will carry support for a 120Hz refresh rate. The AMOLED panel of X70 Pro+ will be integrated with a fingerprint sensor.
The X70 Pro+ smartphone is likely to arrive in 8 GB and 12 GB RAM variants in China. It may release in storage choices like 256 GB and 512 GB. The smartphone will come preinstalled with Android 11 OS and OriginOS UI.
For selfies and video calls, it will feature a 32-megapixel front camera. TENAA further mentions 50-megapixel + 48-megapixel + 12-megapixel + 8-megapixel quad-camera unit. Leaked information has revealed that it has an OIS-assisted Sony IMX766 primary camera, a Sony IMX598 ultrawide lens with micro-gimbal stabilization, an OIS-ready 12-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom, and an OIS-enabled 8-megapixel periscope camera with 5x optical zoom and 60x digital zoom.
The Vivo flagship is packed with a 4,430mAh rated battery. Reports have claimed that apart from 55W wired charging, it will also carry support for 50W wireless charging. It is likely to arrive in blue and orange leather back options. The black variant of the device is expected to feature an AG glass.
