Huawei Nova 9 may Debut on September 23

Recent reports have revealed that Huawei is working on the launch of the first Nova 9 series of smartphones. Reports suggest that the Huawei phone with model number RTE-AL00 that was recently certified by China’s TENAA and 3C certification sites could be debuting as the Huawei Nova 9. A tipster has claimed that the Nova 9 will be debuting on Sept. 23 in China.

The tipster has claimed that after the launch on Sept. 23, the Nova 9 will be available for purchase in the Chinese market from Sep. 29. He added that the phone will be fueled by the 4G version of the Snapdragon 778G. Qualcomm is yet to announce its 4G variant.

The TENAA listing of the Huawei Nova 9 (RTE-AL00) that was spotted last month still has no information on its specs. Its images that were spotted at TENAA suggested that it could be equipped with an OLED panel with an in-screen fingerprint scanner. A pill-shaped cutout available on its screen hinted that it could be sporting a dual selfie camera setup.

The back panel of the Nova 9 features a quad-camera unit assisted by an LED flash unit. The 3C appearance of the device revealed that it may carry support for 66W fast charging. It is believed that the other NAM-AL00 Huawei phone, which was spotted with a 100W charger at 3C last month could be the upcoming Nova 9 Pro.

Huawei is yet to confirm the arrival of the Huawei Nova 9 series. Now that its launch date has been tipped, the company may reveal its launch date in the next few days.
