Vivo will be launching the Vivo X90 series of flagship phones in China. The X90 and X90 Pro are expected to arrive as the world’s first Dimensity 9200 smartphones. The X90 Pro+, on the other hand, may debut as the world’s first smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform. Weibo has a poster of the Vivo X90 Pro+ that shows off some of its most important features.
The poster reveals that the Vivo X90 Pro+ will come equipped with an E6 AMOLED display that offers features like LTPO 4.0 technology, PWM dimming, 1800 nits of brightness, and 517ppi pixel density.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset will power the device. Other reports have claimed that the device will offer up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The image further reveals that the device will come equipped with an 8900mm2 heat dissipation unit.
The post does not say anything about the battery capacity of the Vivo X90 Pro+. However, it states that the device offers 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. It features dual stereo speakers with Hi-Fi audio output.
The Vivo X90 Pro+’s rear camera setup will comprise a 1-inch Sony IMX989 50-megapixel main camera. It will be coupled with a 48-megapixel Sony IMX598 ultra-wide camera, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX758 telephoto camera, and a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B periscope zoom camera. Lastly, it shows that the Vivo X90 Pro+ will be a dustproof and waterproof phone with an IP68 rating.
