Vivo has officially announced a new entry-level smartphone known as the Vivo Y10 in the Chinese market where the phone carries an affordable launch price of just 1,099 Yuan (US$173).
The Vivo Y10 builds around a 6.51” IPS LCD display that offers a HD+ screen resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, as well as an 8 megapixels front-facing camera to help with selfie and video calls.
At the back, the phone sports a square-shaped camera module which houses a dual-cam setup comprising of a 13 megapixels main camera and a 2 megapixels depth sensor for portrait shots.
Under the hood, the Vivo Y10 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 chipset with 4GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card.
To keep it’s lights on, the phone is backed by a respectable 5,000mAh battery which features a standard 10W charging speed. As usual, the Vivo Y10 will be shipped with OriginOS 1.0 based on Android 11 out of the box.
