After launching the Vivo Y21 smartphone back in August last year, Vivo had subsequently announced several other variants such as the Vivo Y21s and Vivo Y21T to name a few. Now, the company is back with yet another model known as the Vivo Y21G that comes with various upgrades over last year’s Y21.
Right off the bat, the new Vivo Y21G features a 6.51” LCD display that offers a HD+ screen resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, as well as an 8 megapixels front-facing camera housed within a waterdrop-notch.
Over on the rear side, the phone sports a square-shape camera island which is home to a dual-camera setup that includes a 13 megapixels main camera and a 2 megapixels macro camera.
Under the hood, the Vivo Y21G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G70 chipset which will be paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB built-in storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card.
To keep it’s lights on, the phone is backed by a respectable 5,000mAh battery which carries support for 18W fast-charging. As usual, the device will also be shipped with Funtouch OS 12 based on Android 12 OS out of the box.
For those who’re interested, the Vivo Y21G is available in both Midnight Blue and Diamond Glow color options, and is priced at INR13,990 (US$185) in the Indian market.
