Vivo Y30 Bags NBTC Certification

Vivo is working on a new phone called Vivo Y30. The moniker had surfaced on a certification of Indonesia Telecom. Recently, the NBTC body of Thailand also approved the same smartphone indicating that the phone is heading to multiple Asian markets.

The NBTC certification has not revealed any information on the specifications of the Vivo Y30 phone. All that is known through NBTC and Indonesia Telecom certification is that the phone has a model number of 1938.

As of this writing, there is no word on the specifications of the device. Since it is a Y-series, it is safe to assume that it will be debuting as a mid-range device. Hopefully, more details on the device will appear in the coming days. The Vivo Y30 suggests that I could be a weaker phone the Snapdragon 665 powered Vivo Y50 that was unveiled recently.

A new leak had revealed that Vivo is planning to introduce Vivo G1 smartphone in China. The leak revealed that the smartphone features a 6.44-inch waterdrop notch display with full HD+ resolution support. The OLED panel will have a fingerprint sensor beneath.

The Exynos 980 5G chipset is expected to power the device. At front, it may sport a 32-megapixel camera. The rear shell may have a 48-mgeapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 2-megapixel quad camera system placed inside a round-shaped housing.

The 4,500mAh battery of the Vivo G1 will support 18W fast charging. It is speculated to be priced around 3,000 Yuan ($423).
