Vivo Y50 promo materials appeared ahead of launch

We’d already heard about an upcoming Vivo mid-ranger smartphone known as Vivo Y50 which had been spotted on Google Play Console recently.

Today, Vivo Cambodia has begin teasing on this upcoming handset with a series of promotional posters. Thanks to that, most of the specs and design of the Vivo Y50 are now known.

Let’s start with its design. The Vivo Y50 is the first smartphone in the entire Y-series to feature a hole-punched display instead of a conventional dewdrop-notch at the front. The specs of the front-facing selfie camera remain unknown at the moment.

Over on its slip-side, the Vivo Y50 will tout a rectangular camera module that houses a quad-camera setup comprising of a 13 megapixels main shooter, an 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, 2 megapixels macro camera, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor.

The Vivo Y50 will be driven by the Snapdragon 665 SoC coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage space in its memory compartment. Last but no the least, it will be fueled by a gargantuan 5,000mAh battery and will run on the latest FuntouchOS 10 based on Android 10.

As for it’s pricing, Vivo Cambodia has confirmed that the device will be priced at US$249 (INR19,030).
