Vivo Y500 Pro China Telecom listing revealing key details before November 10 launch

Vivo has officially confirmed that the Vivo Y500 Pro will debut on November 10 in China. This mid-range phone will come equipped with a flagship-quality Samsung HP5 200-megapixel main camera. The launch date poster released by the brand has confirmed a few specs of the phone. At the same time, the device has also appeared in the database of China Telecom’s product library, revealing its other details.

Vivo has confirmed that the Vivo Y500 Pro will feature a 6.67-inch OLED display with support for a 1.5K resolution. Like the recently unveiled X300 series, the Y500 Pro will run on OriginOS 6. The company claims that the device will support 120fps MOBA gaming.

The company has confirmed that it will have a 7,000mAh battery, which may support 90W charging as per reports. In terms of build, the Y500 Pro will have an anti-glare glass back with a satin-like finish and an IP68/69 rating.

As per the China Telecom listing, the Vivo Y500 Pro will feature a 32-megapixel front camera, and its back panel will have a 200-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual-camera setup. It will be powered by the MT6878T MediaTek chip, which is none other than the Dimensity 7400 SoC. It measures 160.23 x 74.51 x 7.81mm and weighs around 198 grams.

The China Telecom listing further reveals that the Vivo Y500 Pro will be available in variants such as 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB. It will be sold in shades like Light Green, Titanium Black, Soft Pink, and Auspicious Gold. It is unclear whether the device will be released in markets outside of China.
