Vivo Y74s debuts with MediaTek Dimensity 810 & 44W fast-charging

Vivo is on a launching spree with it’s Y series smartphones recently. After launching the Vivo Y54s and Y50t devices earlier this month, the company is now back with another model dubbed as the Vivo Y74s.

This model builds around a 6.58” IPS LCD display which brings along a FHD+ screen resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, 20:9 tall aspect ratio, as well as an 8 megapixels front-facing camera to help with selfie and video calls.

At the back, the phone features a rectangular camera bump which houses a dual-camera setup comprising of a 50 megapixels main camera and a 2 megapixels macro camera to help with close-up shots.

Under the hood, the Vivo Y74s is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset which was also found in the recently announced POCO M4 Pro 5G. This will be paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB built-in storage in the memory department.

To keep it’s lights on, the Vivo Y74s is fitted with a 4,100mAh battery with 44W fast-charging support. Other than that, the phone also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack, and will be shipped with OriginOS 1.0 based on Android 11.

For those who’re interested, the Vivo Y74s will be available in both Black and Blue colorways, and is priced at 2,299 Yuan (US$360) in the Chinese market.
