A press invite that revealed that Vivo will be launching the Vivo Z5 smartphone in China on July 30 had surfaced in the previous week. Today, the Chinese manufacturer has released an official confirmation through Weibo that it will be holding an event on July 30 to unleash the Vivo Z5 smartphone.
Recent reports have revealed that the Vivo V1921A smartphone that has been recently approved by China’s TENAA telecom authority is the upcoming Vivo Z5 smartphone. The smartphone features a 6.38-inch AMOLED display that supports full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The display of the phone is equipped with a waterdrop-style notch. It houses a front-facing camera of 32-megapixel.
The rear side of the phone is fitted with a triple camera module that includes a 48-megapixel main lens, a secondary shooter of 8-megapixel and a third lens of 2-megapixel. The smartphone is powered an unknown 2.3GHz octa-core processor. It may release in 6 GB and 8 GB RAM versions in China. The smartphone could be available in storage choices like 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB. It may house a 4,500mAh battery.
The Vivo Z5 will carry support for external storage. It come preloaded with Android 9 Pie OS and FunTouch OS 9 UI. There is no information available yet on the pricing and availability of the Vivo Z5 smartphone.
