Vivo Z6 5G goes official with an attractive staring price of just 2,298 Yuan (US$328)

After a long wait, the highly anticipated Vivo Z6 5G has finally made it’s official debut in China. This will be an exciting handset which will take on the likes of current Snapdragon 765G-driven phones including the OPPO Reno3 Pro and Realme X50 5G.

The Vivo Z6 employs a hole-punched front display with minimal bezels along it’s two sides. It’s front display measures 6.57-inches diagonally and has a screen resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels with a gorgeous 20:9 tall aspect ratio.

Under the hood, the Vivo Z6 is driven by an octa-core Snapdragon 765G SoC which features an integrated 5G modem which allows the device to support both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) 5G modes. In the memory compartment, there will be up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage.

At the rear, it’s quad-camera setup comprises of a 48 megapixels main shooter, an 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens (112-degrees field-of-view), a 2 megapixels macro camera, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor. Moving on, the selfie camera at the front will be a 16 megapixels sensor.

One of the key highlights of the Vivo Z6 will be it’s dedicated liquid cooling system that helps keep the device cool during intensive gaming. Besides that, it also comes with the Multi-Turbo 3.0 optimizations and support for dual-WiFi connections to ensure a smooth gaming experience for it’s users.

The Vivo Z6 will be fueled by a massive 5,000mAh battery which supports an incredible 44W fast-charging. A full charge from 0 to 100% is said to take only 65 minutes with it’s fast-charging technology.

Software-wise, the Vivo Z6 will run on the latest FunTouchOS 10 based on Android 10. For those who’re interested, the device will be available in three color options including black, purple and light blue.

The Vivo Z6 5G will be available in two different models with 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB memory configurations which are priced at 2,298 Yuan (US$328) and 2,598 Yuan (US$371) respectively.

In the Chinese market, the device will go on pre-sale starting tomorrow.
