Xiaomi had announced yesterday that the company will be launching the much anticipated Xiaomi 11T series smartphones and Xiaomi Pad 5 tablet on September 23rd later this week.
However, besides these devices, the company has confirmed via a new teaser that it’ll also be unveiling another mid-range phone known as the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE during the same event as well.
The Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE as we already know, is based largely upon the current Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G (Review), except for the difference in it’s underlying chipset.
Unlike the latter which adopts an octa-core Snapdragon 780G chipset, the new model settles with a slightly toned-down Snapdragon 778G that’s likely to be accompanied by an even more affordable price point.
Other than that, the phone retains the same 6.55” FHD+ AMOLED display, 90Hz refresh rate, 64MP triple-cam setup, 20MP selfie camera, 4,250mAh battery, as well as 33W fast-charging support.
