Xiaomi 11T series debuts with super attractive pricing

After weeks anticipation, Xiaomi has finally unveiled the successors for last year’s Xiaomi Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro (Review) duo – Xiaomi 11T and Xiaomi 11T Pro – during a high profile global launch event which was livestreamed across various social media platforms.

Quite expectedly, the new Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro arrive with some notable upgrades over it’s predecessors, including an upgraded chipset as well as camera system. Despite that, the Xiaomi 11T series smartphones continue to retain an affordable starting price of just EUR499 (US$590) – making them some of the most attractive flagship phones in the market.

Xiaomi 11T Pro

Starting with the higher-end Xiaomi 11T Pro, the phone arrives with a 6.67” AMOLED display which features a FHD+ screen resolution topped with a smooth 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and up to 480Hz touch sampling rate.

Xiaomi 11T Pro Color Options

On top of that, it also has features an impressive 10-bit color depth, 1,000 nits peak brightness, as well as support for HDR10+ playback to ensure an immersive viewing experience for it’s users. As for selfie, it’ll be handled by a 16 megapixels front-facing camera.

Xiaomi 11T Pro Gorilla Glass Victus

Just like the Xiaomi Mi 11 (Review), the Mi 11T Pro is also equipped with an additional layer of Gorilla Glass Victus atop it’s front display to protect it against accidental drops or scratches.

Over on the flipside, the Xiaomi Mi 11T Pro comes with a slightly redesigned camera module which houses a triple-camera setup comprising of a 108 megapixels (f/1.75 aperture) main camera, 8 megapixels (f/2.2 aperture) ultra-wide lens, as well as a 5 megapixels (f/2.4 aperture) telemacro camera.

Xiaomi 11T Pro Snapdragon 888

Under the hood, it’s powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 mobile platform which is paired up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 flash storage in the memory department.

To deliver an all-rounded entertainment experience, the Xiaomi 11T Pro is also equipped with a capable dual-speaker system tuned by audiophile specialist Harmon Kardon.

Xiaomi 11T Pro 120W HyperCharge

Moving on, the Xiaomi 11T Pro draws power from a respectable 5,000mAh battery which carries support for a blazing-fast 120W flash charging – the fastest charging solution within it’s price segment. Xiaomi claimed that a full charge from 0 to 100% takes a mere 17 minutes via it’s 120W bundled charger.

Those who’re interested in the Xiaomi 11T Pro can pick the phone from three different color options including Meteorite Gray, Moonlight White and Celestial Blue. Though the local pricing and availability has yet to be announced, but Xiaomi did revealed that the Xiaomi 11T Pro will carry a starting price of EUR 649 (US$767) in the European region.

Xiaomi 11T

Coming to the slightly more affordable Xiaomi 11T, it features the same 6.67” AMOLED display with FHD+ screen resolution and 120Hz adaptive refresh rate – just like it’s ”Pro” sibling.

Xiaomi 11T Series Specs

In fact, their similarities extend to the camera department as well. This means we’ll be looking at a totally identical 108 megapixels triple-camera system as well as a 16 megapixels front-facing camera.

Xiaomi 11T MediaTek Dimensity 1200-Ultra

What’s different however, is that the Xiaomi 11T is powered by a toned-down MediaTek Dimensity 1200-Ultra custom chip instead of the Snapdragon 888 chipset that was found in the Xiaomi 11T Pro.

Although the phone retains the same 5,000mAh battery, but it’s charging speed has been reduced to 67W instead. Despite that, it’s still among one of the fastest charging solution within the segment, and is pretty much on par with the OPPO Reno6 Pro’s (Review) 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 flash charging.

For those who’re interested, the Xiaomi 11T is also available in the same Meteorite Gray, Moonlight White and Celestial Blue colorways, and is priced starting from EUR 499 (US$590) in the European markets.
