Following the high profile global launch event last week, Xiaomi has now confirmed that the company will be holding an official launch event in both Singapore and Malaysia on September 23rd this week.
Although the company hasn’t reveal anything about the products that will be unveiled during the upcoming event, but they are likely to be the much anticipated Xiaomi 11T series smartphones as well as the Xiaomi Pad 5 tablet that were launched last week.
Xiaomi 11T Series
As a quick recap, the Xiaomi 11T series smartphones consist of two different models including the Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro. Both devices share the same 6.67” FHD+ AMOLED display, 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 108MP triple-cam setup, 16MP front-facing camera, as well as a 5,000mAh battery.
What really set them apart is in fact their underlying chipset. The higher-end Xiaomi 11T Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 888 chipset, while the vanilla model settles with a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chip just like the OPPO Reno6 Pro (Review).
Similarly, the Xiaomi 11T Pro also has a considerably faster 120W charging speed as opposed to the 67W fast-charging support on the Xiaomi 11T.
Xiaomi Pad 5
Coming to the Xiaomi Pad 5, the tablet features a 11” FHD+ IPS LCD display, 120Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 860 chipset, 13MP rear camera, 8MP front-facing camera, 8,720mAh battery, as well as 33W fast-charging.
