Now, a new rumor out of China has claimed that the company is aiming maintain it’s track record by being the first adopter of the upcoming Snapdragon 898 chipset for the upcoming Xiaomi 12 series smartphones which are likely to be announced by the end of the year.

Although there isn’t much information pertaining to the Xiaomi 12 series at the moment, but we did know from recent leaks that the Snapdragon 898 chipset is expected to arrive with at least 15% improvement over the Snapdragon 888 on Geekbench.

Similarly, it’s also said to score at least 5% higher than the more recent Snapdragon 888+ silicon. No doubt, improvements to the forthcoming Snapdragon 898+ chipset can be largely attributed to the more advance Samsung 4nm manufacturing process.
