Xiaomi 12T Pro, Redmi Pad Appear in Leaked Image, Launch Seems Imminent

Several reports have claimed that Xiaomi will unveil the Xiaomi 12T Pro flagship phone in the global market as early as this month. Tipster Abhishek Yadav has shared a leaked image of the Xiaomi 12T Pro. The same image also gives the first look at the Redmi Pad.

As can be seen in the image, the rear shell of the Xiaomi 12T Pro has curved edges. The rear camera setup of the device has a 200-megapixel main camera, two auxiliary cameras, and an LED flash. It is unclear whether the primary camera in the setup supports Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). The right edge of the Xiaomi 12T Pro has a volume rocker and a power button.

The Xiaomi 12T Pro is said to be a modified version of the Redmi K50 Ultra, which is exclusively available in China. It has a 6.67-inch OLED display that offers a 1220 x 2712 pixels resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It will have a 5,000mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging.

The 12T Pro will have a 20-megapixel front camera. The back panel of the device will feature a 200-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera unit. It will run MIUI 13, based on the Android 12 operating system.

Redmi Pad

The Redmi Pad has a flat rear shell, which could be made of metallic material. The tablet’s right edge has a volume rocker, and its top edge has a power key. The back panel of the device has an 8-megapixel camera without an LED flash. Rumors surrounding the device have revealed that it will feature an 11-inch display that supports a 2K resolution, Android 12 OS, and a 7,800mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging. It is said to feature a new MediaTek MT8781 chip, which is expected to offer performance similar to the Helio G99.
