Reports have claimed that the Xiaomi 14 series will debut earlier than the Xiaomi 13 series this year. It is being said that the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro will be announced in November. Ahead of the launch, the rumor mill has been actively leaking information about the Xiaomi 14 series. Here is a look at the details that DCS shared in the latest leak about the Xiaomi 14 Pro.
According to the tipster, the Xiaomi 14 Pro will be equipped with a substantial 50-megapixel camera sensor with a size of approximately 1/1.28 inches. It will support a variable aperture ranging from f/1.4 to f/4.0 and offer the impressive light-intake capability of a one-inch sensor. The benefit of a variable aperture in a camera lens is that it allows for control over the amount of light entering the camera, resulting in better-quality photos and the ability to capture images in low-light situations.
Additionally, the Xiaomi 14 Pro is said to feature a 2K display supplied by a Chinese display manufacturer. The screen will have a new base material and ultra-thin bezels on all four sides, ensuring eye protection and setting a new record for screen brightness. The device is expected to house a high-density 4860mAh battery and incorporate a large X-axis motor, among other features.
Early reports claimed that the Xiaomi 14 Pro’s rear camera setup would be equipped with a periscope telephoto camera. However, the same tipster leaked last week that instead of a periscope zoom camera, the device will be equipped with a telemacro camera. As for the main camera, it could be equipped with a Sony IMX989 (LYT900) camera sensor.
Previous reports have claimed that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered flagship phone will have a titanium alloy frame and offer support for satellite connectivity.
