Xiaomi unveiled the Xiaomi 14 series on Oct. 26 in China. Soon after the launch, the company confirmed that the Xiaomi 14 series set a new record in first-day sales on major Chinese online retailers as it completely sold out within four hours of its initial release. In addition, Xiaomi reported a sixfold increase in first-sale sales compared to the previous generation in just five minutes. However, it did not confirm the number of Xiaomi 14 units that were sold. Now, a Weibo post released by Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun gives an idea of how many units have been sold.
In the image above, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun acknowledged that the Xiaomi 14 series had achieved over one million units in sales, yet he emphasized the persistent supply shortage. He expressed the company’s urgent need for new orders and kindly requested the public’s patience.
