A recent leak revealed the rear design of the upcoming Xiaomi 14 Ultra. Xiaomi has been offering a curved-edge AMOELD display on its Ultra-branded flagship phones. Hence, it was speculated that the 14 Ultra will sport the same kind of display design. However, the latest leak by MySmartPrice reveals that the 14 Ultra will have a new display design.
The leaked renders released by the publication reveal that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will have a flat display. As can be seen, the device is equipped with extremely thin bezels. As far as the rear design is concerned, it looks like a refined version of the 13 Ultra from last year.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip will be present under the hood. It is expected to arrive with 12 GB / 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 256 GB / 512 GB / 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. It may come with a 5,300mAh battery that may offer 90W wired and 50W wireless charging support.
The 14 Ultra is expected to feature a 32-megapixel front camera. Its rear camera setup is likely to include a 50-megapixel LYT-900 main camera with OIS support and f/1.63 to f/4.0 variable aperture.
The main snapper is likely to be joined by a 50-megapixel IMX858 ultra-wide lens, a 50-megapixel IMX858 telephoto camera with 3.2x optical zoom, and a 50-megapixel IMX858 periscope telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. The device is likely to ship with the HyperOS 14-flavored Android 14. It is expected to launch on Feb. 22 in China, and its global launch is scheduled to happen on Feb. 26.
