Xiaomi has sold over 110 million Redmi Note series phones globally

Back in 2014, we witnessed the arrival of the first Redmi Note series phone from Xiaomi. Since then, the company had continued to refresh their Redmi Note series phones with a brand new lineup every year.

Over the years, the Redmi Note series has successfully established itself as one of the leading smartphone series in the budget segment, and has also secured a huge fan base particularly in both China and India.

It is therefore not surprising particularly surprisingly when Xiaomi broke the news that the company had sold over 110 million Redmi Note series phones globally. Needless to say, this is a well-deserved achievement for the Chinese smartphone maker.

In fact, many of us will expect this tremendous figure to rise even faster with the newly announced Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max duo. This pair of smartphones have been well-received by the majority of reviewers in India based on their initial feedback.

Despite the latest achievement, there is still plenty of work to do in order to keep the company ahead of it’s competitors. Any slight complacency would allow the company to slip behind it’s main competitors like Realme in the near future.
