Xiaomi introduces new HyberCharge technology that offers 200W wired charging & 120W wireless charging

Back in January this year, Xiaomi announced a revolutionary charging technology known as the Mi Air Charge that allows “users to remotely charge electronic devices without any cables or wireless charging stands.”.

Now, the company is back to the limelight with the brand new HyperCharge technology that promises an incredible 200W wired charging and 120W wireless charging which may sound too good to be true (but it’s true).

According to the demo video shared by Xiaomi, the new HyperCharge technology is able to fill a 4,000mAh battery from 0 to 100% in just 8 minutes via wired charging, and 15 minutes via wireless charging.

That’s in fact way faster than the current 120W wired charging on the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra, as well as the 67W wireless charging on the Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra.

At the moment, there’s still no words on when we will see this technology on an actual Xiaomi smartphone, but we believe it will probably take some time before it finally heads into production for actual smartphones.
