After launching the Redmi Note 11 series smartphones last month, Xiaomi is now back with a higher-end model known as the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ that brings along an upgraded chipset as well as an even faster charging speed over the Redmi Note 11 Pro (Review).
Right off the bat, the new Redmi Note 11 Pro+ features a 6.67” AMOLED display which flaunts a FHD+ screen resolution, super smooth 120Hz refresh rate, as well as a responsive 360Hz touch sampling rate. Similarly, it also has a 16 megapixels front-facing camera situated within a minuscule hole-punch cutout that measures just 2.96mm in diameter.
For photography, the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ relies on a versatile triple-cam setup at the back comprising of a 108 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, as well as a 2 megapixels telemacro camera. In fact, this is the same camera system which had impressed us on the Redmi Note 11 Pro.
Under the hood, the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimesnity 920 chipset which supposedly boasts better performance than the Snapdragon 695 used on the Redmi Note 11 Pro. Other than that, there’s also an ample 8GB RAM along with up to 256GB built-in storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card.
To keep it’s lights on, the phone is equipped with a respectable 4,500mAh battery which supports a rapid 120W charging speed – just like the recent Xiaomi 12 Pro flagship phone. It will be available in a trio of colors such as Graphite Gray, Star Blue, Forest Green.
In the local market, the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ is priced at S$449 and S$549 respectively for the 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB variants, and will go on sale starting April 6th on both Shopee and Lazada.
