Xiaomi M2007J1SC Flagship May Come with 120W Charging, SD865+ and 48MP Camera

Various smartphone OEMs are expected to announce new flagship phones in the second half of the year. Recent reports have revealed that Apollo and Verthandi are the codenames of the two upcoming Xiaomi phones for China. While there is less information on the Verthandi phone, it is said that M2007J1SC phone that was recently certified by MIIT and 3C is the Apollo smartphone. Folks at XDA Developers scoured through the MIUI 12 code to find some information on its specs.

According to the publication, the M2007J1SC phone has CAS codename. Hence, it appears that Apollo and CAS could be two internal names for the device.  is either fueled by Snapdragon 865 or Snapdragon 865 Plus mobile platform.

The publication reported that the M2007J1SC was previously speculated to be equipped with a 108-megapixel main camera. However, it appears that instead of it, the handset will have a main camera of 48-megapixel.

Apart from the main lens, the phone has an ultrawide lens that doubles up as a macro shooter and a periscope lens that will bring support for “supermoon” mode. While it seems that the phone has three rear cameras, its possibility of arriving with quad cameras cannot be ruled out. Lastly, it is already known that through 3C appearance that it may ship with a 120W fast charger.

Previous reports have suggested that the smartphone will sport a punch-hole display with curved edges. The screen is likely to arrive with support for 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is likely to debut as early as next month.
