Several reports have revealed that Xiaomi will be launching a new flagship phone on Aug. 11. The rumor mill had dubbed the device with names like Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro+ and Xiaomi Mi 10s. Today, the company took to Weibo that the device will be called Xiaomi Mi 10 Extreme Commemorative Edition.
The Xiaomi Mi 10 Extreme Commemorative Edition will be debuted at 7:30PM local time in China on Aug. 11 in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the brand. The teaser has no information on the specs of the device. It seems to be the phone with model number M2007J1SC that has recently spotted at various places like 3C certification, AnTuTu, and Geekbench.
Xiaomi Mi 10 Extreme Commemorative Edition Specifications (Rumored)
Based on recent reports, it can be said that the Xiaomi Mi 10 Extreme Commemorative Edition is equipped with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display. It is curved display with punch-hole design. The display is expected to support 120W refresh rate.
The Mi 10 Extreme Edition could be powered by Snapdragon 865 or 865+ SoC. The phone will be packed with a 4,500mAh dual-battery unit. Apart from 120W fast charging, the handset may support 55W wireless charging technology.
The rear side of the phone may sport a 48-megapixel quad camera setup. It will have a periscope zoom lens with high optical zoom support. The handset will also be capable at shooting 8K videos.
