Earlier this week, there were rumors that the highly anticipated Xiaomi Mi 10 series may be announced in China on February 13th. However, due to the Carona Virus outbreak in China, the launch event will be held via online platforms instead.
Now, Xiaomi has released an official press invite for their upcoming February 23rd global launch event as well. From the graphics of the press invite, especially the numeric “10”, its not hard to tell that the stars of the event are none other than the Mi 10 flagship series.
The global launch event will be held in Barcelona, Spain, where this year’s Mobile World Congress trade show will be held. The launch event will however, be held one day in advance.
Unlike the separate launch event held in China, the global launch event will be dedicated towards the global audience, and will shed some lights on the devices’ global availability and pricing.
Coincidentally, OPPO’s next flagship, known as the Find X2 will also be making it’s official debut during the same week at Barcelona.
As usual, Xiaomi is expected to announce both the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro powerhouse during the launch event. The alleged promo poster for these devices had recently been leaked as well. The alleged poster had revealed a pretty similar design language as the current Mi Note 10 device in terms of their back panels.
Although there isn’t much information pertaining to the Mi 10, but we do hear quite a fair bit regarding the “Pro” model .According to a recent leak, it was revealed that the Mi 10 Pro will be featuring an impressive 108 megapixels main shooter, alongside 16GB worth of RAM and an astonishing 512GB native storage space.
The same device will also come with an respectable 5,250mAh battery which is said to support up to 66W fast-charging.
