Following OPPO’s footstep, Xiaomi has also announced that the company will push back the global launch event for their highly anticipated Mi 10 flagship series. Therefore, the initial launch date scheduled on February 23rd will no longer happen.
To all our Mi Fans, users, partners and friends from the media, following GSMA’s decision to cancel #MWC2020, #Xiaomi will also delay our global product launch of the latest flagship #Mi10 series.

Just yesterday, OPPO had also confirmed that the official launch of their upcoming Find X2 flagship will also be delayed till March next month. Realme on the other hand, had decided to forge ahead by turning the Realme X50 Pro’s launch event into an online launch instead.
It is likely for both OPPO and Xiaomi to hold an online launch event for the safety of the participants due to the worsening situation of the current coronavirus outbreak.
So far, we’d yet to here from Vivo or Huawei whether the companies will be going ahead with an online launch event or delaying their product launches.
Previously, it was revealed that Vivo will be showcasing the next generation’s APEX concept phone, while Huawei will launch their upgraded foldable phone known as the Mate Xs during the MWC 2020.
