On March 29th, Xiaomi is expected to launch a wide range of products including smartphones, fitness band and even the company’s new in-house Surge chipset. So far, the company is expected to announce at least four smartphone models including the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite, Mi 11 Pro, Mi 11 Ultra, as well as the new Mi Mix series smartphone.
Right now, the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra has made its appearance on Geekbench 5, confirming some of its key specs including the flagship Snapdragon 888, 12GB RAM and Android 11 OS. On top of that, the same listing also revealed that the device achieved an impressive score of 1,132 points and 3,488 points respectively for its single-core and multi-cores benchmark tests.
Besides promising a top-tier performance, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra had also been confirmed to be the first smartphone in the world to feature a 50 megapixels Samsung ISOCELL GN2 camera and will reportedly be retaining the 120x digital zoom that we first saw on the Mi 10 Ultra.
Similarly, Xiaomi also confirmed today that the Mi 11 Ultra will be employing the new silicon-oxygen anode battery which promises ultra-fast charging, while at the same time allows the battery to keep a slim profile.
On paper, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra certainly shape up to be a really exciting flagship phone that’s more than good enough to take on other powerhouse in the market including the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra (Review) and the newly announced OPPO Find X3 Pro. However, this also means that the Mi 11 Ultra is likely to be one of the most expensive Xiaomi smartphone we’d ever seen thus far.
