Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra Hands-On Video Reveals Design, Full Specifications

While Xiaomi fans eagerly waiting for the arrival of the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro, it appears that the next Mi 11 series phone could be the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra. The reason behind it is that a Filipino YouTube channel Tech Buff PH uploaded a hands-on video of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra. The video which has been taken down not only revealed its design, but also its entire specifications.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra appeared in black and white color editions in the hands-on video. While the front side of the device was found to be fitted with quad-curved display with a punch-hole design, a huge rectangle-shaped camera module was seen on its back. The rear camera array is fitted with three cameras, a triple-LED flash unit, ‘120MP Ultra Pixel AI Camera’ text, and a secondary display.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra is flanked with a 6.8-inch WQHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate support. The screen is shielded by Gorilla Glass Victus. The device offers IP68 rated dust and water resistance.

The Snapdragon 888 SoC is present under the hood of the Mi 11 Ultra. It will be coming with improved versions of UFS 3.1 storage and LPPDR5 RAM. It seems to be running on global version of MIUI 12.5. The handset has a 5,000mAh battery, which supports 67W rapid charging, 67W fast wireless charging, and 10W reverse charging.

The Mi 11 Ultra’s triple camera unit comprises of a 50-megapixel main camera, a 48-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and a 48-megapixel telephoto lens with up to 10x periscope zoom capabilities. The secondary screen can not only be used for shooting selfies through the rear cameras, but also for viewing apps. For selfies, it has a 20-megapixel camera on the front.

The YouTuber did not reveal anything on the pricing and launch date of the Mi 11 Ultra. According to XDA Developers, the model number of the MI 11 Ultra is M2102K1G and its codename is ‘star.’ Recently, the M2102K1G phone was spotted at India’s BIS and Europe’s EEC certification platforms. These certifications indicate that the Mi 11 Ultra’s launch date may not be far away.
