Xiaomi was expected to debut the Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus phablet along with the Xiaomi Mi 6 smartphone. However, it did not happen so. After the launch of Mi 6, Chinese analysts had claimed that the Mi 6 Plus would be launching in a few months. Xiaomi has released a teaser image of what it is going to unveil on July 11. Also, it has also released a video on Weibo to show the features that would be coming the Xiaomi’s next smartphone that will be debuting on July 11.
The above image has a question mark next to 6 GB and the Chinese text on the image states that the phone will be faster, smoother, more tasks, more efficient and more fun. The part of the phone shown in the image suggests that it could be the Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus.
Last year, Xiaomi had released the Mi Note 2 in two models: 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 6 GB + 128 GB storage. A report on MyDrivers suggests that it could be an improved version of Xiaomi Mi Note 2 flagship from October 2016. The report claims that it may feature 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB storage.
Also, the Chinese firm has released a video to tease on the features that will be coming on its next phone. The video suggests that the Xiaomi’s next phone that would be launching on July 11 would be coming with features like Snapdragon 8XX chip, UFS storage, DDR4 RAM, 3D glass chassis, big screen, big 4,000mAh battery with longer stand-by time, fast charging, 22-megapixel camera with support 4K video recording, 4G, USB-C, NFC and IR blaster.
