Xiaomi Mi 8, Mi A2 and Redmi 6 Launched in Taiwan

Xiaomi has unveiled three new smartphones in Taiwan namely, Xiaomi MI 8, Mi A2 and Redmi 6. The Mi 8 and Redmi 6 were first made available in China in June and the company seems to be now making it available in wider markets. The Xiaomi Mi A2 Android One smartphone is the non-MIUI ROM version edition of the Mi 6X. The handset was unveiled through a global unveil event in Spain on Tuesday. Taiwan is one of the first markets to receive the Mi A2 Android One phone.

Xiaomi Mi 8 is now available for buying in Taiwan through Xiaomi’s official online store. Chunghwa Telecom will begin its exclusive sales from Aug. 1 in the country. The handset features 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage and it is priced at NT $13,999 ($458). It will be available in three colors like black, blue and gold.

Xiaomi Mi A2 Taiwan

Xiaomi Mi A2 has arrived in a single version of 4 of GB RAM and 64 GB of storage in Taiwan. The handset is priced at NT$ 7,599 ($248) for the Taiwanese market. Its official sales are slated to begin on July 30. It will be coming in colors like gold, black and red

Xiaomi Redmi 6 Taiwan

Taiwan is also one of the first markets to receive the Redmi 6. The country will be receiving two versions of the smartphone such as 32 GB storage + 3 GB RAM and 64 GB storage + 4 GB RAM. These variants are respectively priced at NT$ 3,999 ($131) and NT$ 4,999 ($163). Its color variants include rose gold, gold, blue and gray. The release date of the Redmi 6 for Taiwan is July 27.
