Previously, we’d reported that the Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G and Mi Mix 4 5G may be announced simultaneously during an upcoming launch event. As expected we’d expected, Xiaomi has now officially confirmed that both devices will be made official in China on September 24th.
This launch event will further strengthen Xiaomi’s 5G portfolio, which allows them to capture a bigger market share in the 5G smartphone market that has been growing tremendously in China. In this week alone, there will be another two upcoming 5G smartphones including the Vivo NEX 3 5G, as well as the Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G.
Besides having support for 5G network, the Mi 9 Pro had also been confirmed to come with the latest Mi Charge Turbo which supports up to 30W wireless charging. The Mi Mix 4 on the other hand, is tipped to arrive with a curved display which supports 2K resolution and have an incredible 108 megapixels main snapper on the back.
Apparently, the Mi 9 Pro and Mi Mix 4 aren’t the only highlights during the event. Xiaomi is also set to officially introduce their latest MIUI 11 and their new generation’s Mi TV on the same day as well.
