Xiaomi Mi 9S 5G Has Bagged Necessary Certifications; Ready for September Debut?

Earlier in this month, Xiaomi had claimed that it will be launching its second flagship phone with 5G support. Today, the company has confirmed that its next 5G phone has bagged the three important certifications which suggests that its launch is close at hand. Based on recent reports it can be said that it could be the Xiaomi Mi 9S 5G smartphone.

Before a smartphone goes official in China, it has clear 3C, TENAA and SRCC certifications. The upcoming 5G phone from Xiaomi has bagged all three of them and is ready to get official. Xiaomi could be referring to the M1908F1XE 5G handset that was approved by the aforementioned Chinese agencies. While the rumor mill is speculating it to launch of Xiaomi Mi 9 5G, a Weibo post from China Unicom that were the list of upcoming 5G phones for China included a phone called Xiaomi Mi 9S. Hence, it is likely that the next 5G phone called Xiaomi Mi 9S 5G. The carrier also revealed that it will be hitting the Chinese markets in the coming month.

The TENAA certification of the phone had revealed that it will be coming with 6.39-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with in-screen fingerprint scanner, Snapdragon 855+ chipset, up to 12 GB of RAM, up to 512 GB of storage, 48-megapixel triple camera setup, 20-megapixel front camera and 4,000mAh battery. The 3C listing of the phone had revealed that it carries support for 45W fast charging.
