Following the official launch of the Xiaomi Mi 9T in Europe yesterday, the Chinese smartphone maker has now set their sight to bring the same device to the Asian market starting next week.
Apparently, Xiaomi will be holding the Mi 9T launch event in Malaysia on June 20th next week. This news came directly from Xiaomi Malaysia’s Facebook page where they has opened up registration for interested fans to attend the launch event.
As of now, Xiaomi Malaysia is the only one in South East Asia to officially confirm a launch event on this highly anticipated handset so it will probably be the first market in the region to begin selling the Mi 9T.
Given that the Mi 9T Pro wasn’t announced in the European market yesterday, there is a high chance that the device will not make its appearance in the June 20th launch event as well. Of course, that doesn’t mean that it will not be announced in the near future.
